📝 Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Kafka Engineer with strong experience designing, implementing, and supporting event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate has a solid backend engineering background and extensive experience building scalable, high-performance messaging solutions for enterprise environments.
✅ Must-Have Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
- Advanced English (B2+ / C1) required.
- Strong understanding of Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, producers, brokers, replication, and performance tuning.
- Experience building event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, or Confluent Platform.
- Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced SQL and database knowledge.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Kafka-based messaging solutions.
- Develop producers, consumers, and event-driven microservices.
- Optimize Kafka clusters, message throughput, and system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform stability.
- Follow software engineering best practices, code reviews, and documentation.
⭐ Nice to Have
Experience with RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or IBM MQ.
Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Kafka or Confluent certifications.
