🔍 We’re Hiring: Senior Software Engineer in Test
Do you have a passion for quality, automation, and building tools that empower engineering teams? We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test to join our Engineering/Development team. This is a remote role (location: Any), reporting to our Software Test Manager.
🔹 What You’ll Do
- Build new test automation frameworks and maintain existing ones.
- Partner with developers and testers to deliver high-quality, testable software.
- Design and implement automation at multiple levels: unit, integration, end-to-end.
- Create innovative solutions for complex testing challenges.
- Provide product teams with the tools, guidance, and confidence to adopt automation.
- Research new testing technologies and share best practices across teams.
- Mentor less experienced testers and collaborate with engineers on automation strategies.
- Contribute to manual testing efforts when needed to support business priorities.
🔹 What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
- Associate degree, coding bootcamp, or equivalent in IT/Computer Science (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Experience testing web technologies and RESTful APIs.
- Proven success in building automation suites (UI + API).
- Strong coding skills and understanding of programming principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- A collaborative, curious mindset with a passion for quality and innovation.
🔹 Bonus Points For
- 6+ years of experience in test automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile teams and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, .NET, C#, or Java.
- Background in exploratory, performance, or load testing.
