🚀 About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server and enterprise virtualization?

Join a large-scale infrastructure modernization project migrating private cloud environments from VMware to Microsoft Hyper-V across data centers in the US and Canada.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer with proven production experience in Hyper-V, Windows Server failover clusters, and virtualization technologies who can help execute complex migrations and optimize infrastructure performance.

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Build, configure, and manage Windows Server Hyper-V failover clusters.
• Work with Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV), Live Migration, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel SANs.
• Manage virtualization infrastructure using SCVMM and Active Directory.
• Support VMware vSphere/ESXi to Hyper-V migrations using Veeam.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize migrated workloads.
• Collaborate with Networking and Security teams on VLANs, virtual networking, and disaster recovery.
• Support complex workloads, including legacy operating systems and SAP HANA environments.
• Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with customers.

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on Windows Server and virtualization experience.
• Proven, practical experience managing Hyper-V clusters in production.
• Direct experience with VMware-to-Hyper-V migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SCVMM, Failover Clustering, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Experience with SAN storage, VLANs, virtual switching, and NIC teaming.
• Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer communication skills.

⭐ Nice to Have: AZ-800/AZ-801 or VMCE certifications, Azure/AWS, MSP or multi-tenant hosting experience, FortiGate, Dell iDRAC, or Live Optics.
