We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help drive the next evolution of our industry-leading, SaaS-based incentive management platform. If you thrive in complex data environments, enjoy designing scalable architectures, and love building high-performing data systems, this role is for you.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop high-quality, testable, and scalable code to support data applications and platform enhancements.
- Play a key role in building new modules and improving core features of our SaaS incentive management platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust data architectures — including data marts, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Build, optimize, and manage ELT/ETL pipelines across internal and external data systems for the broader data organization.
- Leverage a wide range of AWS services to develop efficient data storage and processing solutions.
- Work in an Agile environment, assisting in requirement gathering, effort estimation, and delivering high-performing solutions.
- Document data engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and data handling procedures.
📌 What Skills Are Needed
- 7–8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, with strong expertise in data warehouses, data marts, and data lakes.
- Deep experience with:
- SSIS, AWS Glue, DMS, Redshift, Step Functions, S3, Athena, Kinesis
- Designing and delivering scalable data pipeline solutions.
- Proficiency using GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Experience with TeamCity or GitHub Actions for build automation and CI.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
- Strong command of the AWS CLI for managing and automating cloud operations.
- Solid programming experience with Python and PySpark for data processing.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of database systems and data modeling.
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and fine-tune data workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of networks, algorithms, data structures, RDBMS, OOP, and design patterns.
