Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate software and products to deliver effective test plans, test suites, and test cases
- Develop automated test scripts to validate functional, technical, and performance requirements
- Design and implements automated tests at API and GUI levels
- Enhance and maintain our existing automated testing framework
- Research, evaluate, and deploy new testing tools
- Characterize problems in software that are discovered by automated testing
- Work closely with software developers and DevOps in assessing product quality testing
Required Skills, Qualifications and Competencies
- BS in computer science or a related area of study
- Proficiency in Python is a must
- Familiar with a spectrum of software testing methodologies
- Experience working with databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
- Desire and ability to adapt to changing priorities, new challenges and different technologies
- Strong root cause analysis skills
- Organized, thorough, and detail oriented
- Proven record to work independently
- Experience with source control tools such as Git
- Experience with an automation framework such as pytest, nose, RobotFramework, NUnit, etc.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM development practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Slack is a plus
- Experience working in AWS environment is a plus
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- 8+ years of experience
