Key Responsibilities:
- Act as team mentor for development and delivery practices
- Develop new features, visualizations and analytics using secure, ATDD practices
- Coordinate technical release activities
- Act as “point” on team technical issues
- Review, develop and maintain design documentation
- Write reusable, sustainable code
- Collaborate with other team members and with other tech leads on technology and process improvements
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement process
- Keep current with industry trends and technologies
- Provide troubleshooting support
Required Skills, Qualifications and Competencies
- Solid software development fundamentals
- Proven track record of delivering projects
- Ability to design and write testable code
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in both Java or Python
- Demonstrated Understanding of databases, storage technologies and SQL
- Demonstrated Understanding of databases, storage technologies and SQL
- Desire and ability to adapt to changing priorities, new challenges and different technologies
- 8+ years of experience
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science
