🚀 Principal Infrastructure Engineer | On-Site | Guatemala
We’re looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in designing, supporting, and evolving enterprise infrastructure and hosting services.
This is a hands-on technical leadership opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving automation, driving reliability, and mentoring other engineers.
📍 Location: Guatemala City | On-Site - Zone 10 or Zona 4)
💼 Engagement: Full-Time | Contractor
🧑💻 Level: Principal / Technical Lead
🗣️ English Proficiency: B2–C1 (written and spoken)
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and support Linux & Windows infrastructure and hosted services.
- Troubleshoot complex full-stack infrastructure issues, including networking, authentication, SSL, traffic, and application environments.
- Drive automation, configuration management, and infrastructure improvements.
- Support cloud infrastructure, virtualization, containers, and SaaS platforms.
- Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, security, and compliance initiatives.
- Lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
- Partner with Engineering and third-party providers to build reliable infrastructure solutions.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.

🎯 What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of relevant infrastructure experience
- Strong expertise across servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience leading infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
- Certifications such as RHCE/RHCSA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus
