Must Have Experience:

  • Building deployment and build pipelines with exposure to tools like Jenkins + Cloud Formation, or some combination of build tools and pipeline deploys (e.g. ADO + Terraform) or Chef / Ansible, etc. 
  • Running Incident Management or at least post-mortems for security incidents and / or bug incidents. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the meeting occurred, and that a post incident action plan was documented and distributed. 
  • Clear proxy for “leadership”.
  • Ability (and experience) to build CI/CD pipelines and run incident management meetings.

Desirable Experience:

  • Some level of security tooling experience beyond just “Zap”, these tools include Veracode or SonarQube for static code analysis with a focus on secure code.
  • PEN Testing.
  • Some exposure to Containers (Docker, ECS / Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity w/ AWS tool suite for managing security (IAM, Cognito, Inspector, CloudTrail) and active participation in the roll out of these tools.
  • Experience rolling out “secure coding” trainings or advocating for secure code processes.
  • Understanding of cloud firewalls in particular WAF, and Network Firewall, etc.
  • Understanding of key management, and secure data management policies.
